Zurmat Construction Company (ZCC) was established in 2002 and is registered with the Ministry of Housing, Finance, Commerce, Public Health, the United Nations and other organizations. ZCC is a non-governmental, private sector company that assists in the field of Road Construction, General Construction (medical, educational, commercial, private, and governmental), Agriculture, Irrigation, Drainage Systems, Water Supply, Material and Equipment Supply, Surveying, Designing.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Zurmat Construction Company is currently working on several constructions and engineering related projects.
Jobs will include working in a Kabul office with occasional site trips. Individuals will be working with mostly National and International staff. Work will include engineering design, working with other staff on a project team, and presenting the design work.
Other assignments: assist other engineers in training for proper use of equipment and software, design 2D and 3D in AutoCAD, monitor project progress, be willing to work on-site and accept other assignments as requested.
Design work includes: Roads, Buildings, Irrigation Structures, and Bridges.
NEED:
Requesting a person with experience in DESIGN ENGINEERING to work with Internationals and Afghan staff in facilitating successful completion of on-going and future projects.
Qualifications required:
1. B.S. Civil Engineering degree.
2. Site experience.
3. Min. 3 years experience in road design.
4. Good computer skills.
5. AutoCAD Experience required in 2D and 3D.
6. Read, Write and Speak English.
7. Ability to adapt to change and effectively communicate.
8. Ability to creatively solve design problems and/or design changes.
9. Having leadership qualities (self confidence, logical thoughts and use of oral presentation.
10. Desire to work in a team environment.
